IS GREEN TEA EGCG PROTECTIVE AGAINST ENDOMETRIOSIS?
Endometriosis is a medical condition where endometrial tissue, that normally grows forming only the inner lining of the uterus, grows outside of these normal boundaries. Endometriosis is often a cause of pelvic pain and can also cause infertility.
Epigallocatechin-3-gallate inhibits estrogen-induced activation of endometrial cells in vitro and causes regression of endometriotic lesions in vivo.
